Novice Showing Show - 26 May 2019

The weather was fine and the rained stayed away for our first show of the season on Sunday, 26 May at Nutwell Court, Lympstone, held by kind permission of Mr & Mrs N Lee and sponsored by St David's Equine Veterinary Practice with prize vouchers donated by Taste of Sidmouth.

The Novice Showing Show, which also included an Obedience Test and Gymkhana was well attended and this is the first time we have split the rings between In-hand and Ridden classes, our youngest competitor being just 3 years old! It was lovely to see so many new novice riders and horses/ponies.

The results of the classes and the Obedience Test will be available on our website soon.

Thank you to our judges and to Rebecca Wheeler for judging the Obedience Test, also to BJ's Mobile Catering and Reginaldos Ice Cream Van for providing the catering and First Care Ambulance for providing first aid services. Photographs were taken by Bernadette Blyth - Miss Pixie Images. She will let us know via Facebook when they are available on her Facebook page/website.

Thank you to everyone who attended and supported our club, and thank you for the messages, we are so pleased to hear that you enjoyed it. If you have any comments on what you enjoyed or what you think we could do differently please let us know, we are always happy to receive comments and suggestions.

Our next show is our Novice Horse/Pony Show with a Fun Dog Show, which will be held on Sunday, 23 June 2019 at Nutwell Court, Lympstone. There will be Clear Round Show Jumping from 09:30, with the main Showing and Show Jumping Classes starting at 10:00, Fancy Dress Competition at 13:30 and Thelwell Classes at 14:30. We look forward to seeing you all.
