The Committee would like to thank everyone who was intending to attend our show today. We would also like to thank our volunteers, judges and sponsors Avocet Wealth Partnership and Good Game Grill and those businesses who come to support the show providing catering and other services, Sausage World, Yum Yumz the Horse Box, Reggies Ice Cream Van and C & C Sharpening.
Unfortunately, we had the make the difficult decision to cancel as the weather was not as reported,' light showers and a gentle breeze' and with the rain coming down so heavily as competitors were arriving, it quickly became unsafe for us to continue.
We have refunded all entries fees back to the account that you used to book, the funds should be back in your account within 5-10 days.
We would like to thank everyone for their understanding and for the kind comments that we have received. As you know the time it takes to put on a horse show is immense and our committee have been working tirelessly in their own time, pulling in our family members to also help, to put on these events. We cancelled the dressage on Thursday, but thought that we would be able to continue with the remainder of the show schedule as we know how much time and effort you also put into preparing for these events, as well as the disappointment if we have to cancel. Overall, safety is our main priority and we will always put safety first.
Thank you again for everyone's kind comments and we look forward to seeing you all at our next Novice Show on 2 June.
