OBEDIENCE TEST
Ponies /horses will be requested to perform simple movements in-hand, maximum marks 100. Only 10 marks awarded for conformation. Emphasis on calmness and obedience. Show Ring looks not required.
1. Lead out from line and stand square for judge inspection 10
2. Walk away and step over pole 10
3. Lead in-and-out of bollards, pony following handler 10
4. Turn and trot back to Judge, pony alongside handler 10
5. Halt, standing on carpet 10
6. Handler to pick up fore-foot 5
7. Handler to hold foot for count of 5 10
8. Three steps backwards 10
9. Overall impression of calmness and obedience 15
10. Conformation and turnout 10
